My husband was up from 11pm to 2 am and absolutely zero screen shots were taken. It didn't take anymore until his alarm went off at 5:45am
Certain apps might be white listed such as banking apps for example. These won't screenshot
I've also noticed that with certain apps, and specific game apps (like monopoly Go! For example) after 5 minutes of having the app open and playing the game, the app will stop taking screenshots even tho he's still playing the game and touching the screen
I've seen this happen with my own eyes, him sitting next to me playing it doing nothing nefarious and truple only taking screenshots for the first 5min.
Event timeliness will say it didn't take screenshot after 5min because phone wasn't interactive. Even tho he was touching the screen.
This can also happen sometimes when watching videos but not touching the screen.
Check his event timelines.

Thank you for this. I was right there and seen he was playing a game. His event timeliness backs this up. I just thought it odd there was nothing thanks again

See the note mentioned on this article: https://support.truple.io/articles/misc/screenshot-interval-frequency
* Note: On Android, when using certain games designed with very specific gaming engines, it can cause the game app to capture all user interaction and the game engine doesn't pass those interactions on to the operating system and thus on to Truple. When this happens, the device will report that it's idle once the game has been played for 5 minutes pausing screenshots from being captured. Then Truple will exit idle state and capture screenshots again once the game is closed and another app used.
If this is the case, the event timeline will show Screenshot Not Taken events with the reason being the device was idle. That's why we indicated you should check the event timeline. It tells you what's going on.

Seems odd. If you like at the event timeline and don't see anything I'd message support. If they say all is good I'd start checking other devices.

It's probably best to email support@truple.io about this. However, the event timeline is typically the tool to use to investigate what happened. What does it show from 11pm-2am?
