My partner and I have used truple for a couple of years now. He recently stayed with his mother for weeks and truple didn't transfer to his new phone right away before the abrupt leave. I noticed he had been looking at things on fb via his login (consensual). We have truple back on his new phone and I am just crushed and hurt and trying to be a supportive wife but it pains me.
Since doing research I've learned Galaxy s25fe has extra capabilities to getting past certain things 😓 I'm scared. I messed around with the settings on his phone and I think I screwed something up, now there's several black screens for ui home but not exactly always just 85% of the time. I'm not sure if I did something or if he figured some loophole out. I just don't know 😠how can I be supportive when I'm so deeply crushed.
I am so sorry for what your going through and am praying for you both. I would highly recommend checking out https://puredesire.org/. They offer support groups for both men and women. Betrayal & Beyond for women and 7 Pillars for men. I am a man who struggles and my 7 Pillars group helped me immensely. The women's groups are great for women in your situation for guidance and support. In addition you can find recommended counselors. This is an organization I trust and that has helped me.

The only thing Samsung's Fan Edition (FE) models have different from normal android is the unexpected battery optimizer shutdowns. Basically Samsung needed to put a smaller battery into the device to save on costs in order to offer the phone at a more affordable price. But that small battery would ruin battery life. So to improve battery life, they break standard Android rules and create a system level background process that kills background apps willy nilly. This background process they call a "battery optimizer". Since it has system permissions (because it's cooked into the phone's operating system by Samsung) it can do things that shouldn't be possible--ie, shutdown apps running with the Device Admin permission (which is how Truple is designed to run). Our recommendation is to buy phones that run as close to stock android as possible. Google Pixel and flagship Samsung Galaxy S## (not the FE one though unfortunately) have reliably worked well since Truple's inception 10 years ago.
Now, with all that being said, it's important to understand his recovery is not your problem to solve. Remember that in many instances, most people who view harmful content are victims themselves. The people who produce and profit from harmful content have literally hijacked their brain. This doesn't justify their behavior. And they do need to grow past it. But growth is a journey and it often requires experience to learn how to overcome things. He should chalk up this recent experience at his mother's as an experience to learn from. Ask him what he'll do differently the next time he's at his mom's so that this doesn't happen again. It's little incremental improvements that come from picking yourself back up that amount to overcoming the bad habits.
