I’m trying to recover and build stronger accountability around my screen use, including the TV in my home. I use Truple and it has been helpful, but my TV runs Android TV and there does not seem to be an official Truple version available for it.
This leaves a gap for me, because TV apps and browsing can still become a weak point when I am alone or tempted. I’m looking for a practical, transparent solution that keeps me accountable without making daily use of the TV too difficult.
A few options I have considered are:
- Using an indoor camera that can document the TV screen during use.
- Building a simple Android TV app that takes occasional screenshots and uploads a daily report to Google Drive or sends it to my accountability partner.
- Using a separate streaming device that supports accountability software.
- Any other setup that people here have actually used successfully.
Has anyone found a reliable way to keep an Android TV accountable?
