Got introduced to sexual content at a young age around 4th grade. Started off with hentai and progressed to hardcore real quick when I found my dads stash of VHS porn tapes.
Since then, internet has followed and things just got worse to multiple times per day.
And all this when I'm born in a Christian family.
God then allowed a turning point in my life when I hit rock bottom after my dads death. I recommitted my life to Jesus and things have improved. I used accountable2you software initially but it didn't help that I'm a software engineer and able to get my way around loopholes in technology. Only truple did I find that for the most part, I can't get away with it.
Also got married to a very godly wife who understands my struggles and is supportive of me in my fight against lust/pornography.
Nowadays a long streak would be 2months for me. Now I still had to do lots because of my tech skills to prevent me from going into sexual sites on the internet.
I'm using a DNS service which blocks sexual content sites. I've enforced the DNS on smartphone and in the internet at home using a firewall. The firewall can only be accessed by my wife as well as the login for the DNS service. Very smart of truple to sens notifications when I try to change the DNS on my smartphone.
I'm very happy so far with truple and I've recommended it to friends at church who are also struggling.
Philippians 4:8 has been my reminder.
"Finally, brethren, whatever is good, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things"
How are you progressing? Any updates? Your profile says you're on a nice streak. Congrats if you've kept it up to date!

so proud of you for finding what works for you and keeping up with your recovery. so happy to hear your wife is sticking by your side through this. my partner was also shown pornography at a very young age, hentai as well. it started a life long journey of getting deeper and deeper into his addiction until the point that he wasn’t even attracted to real women and suffered extreme ED. he is also very IT savvy, we started with Clevgard, then Qustodio all in which had a multitude of loopholes. i was devasted every time he relapsed. my betrayal trauma has improved and the horrible things he said about me and my body are now but a distant memory. i know now that his addiction has nothing to do with my value as a woman, on any level. please remember this is as much a recovery for you as it is for her. we (partners) struggle a lot in this process and if we don’t do the work too, it can take us down mentally and physically. cherish her, pray together, keep communicating and seek every day to make the right choices. i’m sure she’s beyond happy that you’re in recovery and doing your best to stay clean, despite your challenges with temptation. every day, week and month that passes that you don’t relapse is you getting stronger. you’re rebuilding your neurological connections and are on the way to rewiring your brain! i’m a recovered xanax addict, clean 7 years. i face challenges too, but the freedom? oh that sweet sweet freedom and being able to say no to those demons, put my foot down and say NO is better than any relapse. you can make it, keep pushing, you have a whole team behind you! thanks for sharing, good luck and stay well!

Amen brother, great verse and great job setting up some good boundaries. Praise God for godly wives. My wife doesn't understand my struggle however she is supportive in that she is willing to look at my daily reports which i am very thankful for. I am glad i am blissfully unaware of the complex loopholes you are aware of. I am only aware of one but i use the Lock Me Out app to block website and app for that.

You can keep track of your streaks by recording your setbacks right here in Truple Stories. It'll also give you insights into days of week/hours of day you're most susceptible. We'd like to grow the data analysis of setbacks, but we need to see people value it to justify spending the time. So if it's interesting to you, use it. If not, ignore it :D.
