I would never have imagined that I would have to ask myself this question at some point in my life. However, in spite of all the road traveled with so much pain, I can say that I am happy and very grateful for so many who continue to help me and have helped me in this battle that leaves so many wounds. But... let's start at the beginning.

During the first twenty years of my life, I could say that I had a very happy childhood, adolescence and youth, full of friends, of very good times shared, of work and study and, in short, of fulfillment. For me, any family member or any of my friends or classmates from school, high school and, later, college, was someone to share with, to help, to enjoy. For that reason, filling my life with others, and for others, I had never had the need to please myself. So much so that, during my early twenties, I had never looked at pornography or masturbated.

Let us, now, leap forward in time, forty years later, to the present day. For the last two decades - it is very humiliating for me to write this - I have masturbated every day, practically, consuming pornography, as well as having taken steps beyond this, on numerous occasions - tens? hundreds? -And how is this change of situation possible? How did I get here? That is the story I want to tell, with my mistakes, setbacks, struggles, defeats and successes... successes: many, especially now -thank God-, and with the invaluable help of my partners and Truple.

Undoubtedly, the best way to get out of a disease whose symptoms are vice, corruption, inner emptiness and sadness, is to count on those who love you and truly seek your good. Nunca hubiera imaginado que esta pregunta me la iba a tener que hacer en algún momento de mi vida. Sin embargo, a pesar de todo el camino recorrido con tanto dolor, puedo decir que me encuentro feliz y muy agradecido por tantos que me siguen ayudando y me han ayudado en esta batalla que tantas heridas deja. Pero... empecemos por el principio.

Durante los primeros veinte años de mi vida, podría decir que tuve una infancia, adolescencia y juventud muy feliz, repleta de amigos y amigas, de muy buenos momentos compartidos, de trabajo y estudio y, en definitiva, de plenitud. Para mí, cualquier familiar o cualquiera de mis amigos o compañeros del colegio, instituto y, más tarde, de la universidad, era alguien con quien compartir, a quien ayudar, con quien disfrutar. Por ese motivo, llenando mi vida con otros, y por otros, nunca había tenido la necesidad de complacerme. Tanto es así que, durante mis primeros veinte años, nunca había visto pornografía ni me había masturbado.

Demos, ahora, un salto en el tiempo, cuarenta años más tarde, hasta llegar al día de hoy. Durante las últimas dos décadas —es muy humillante para mí escribirlo— me he masturbado cada día, prácticamente, consumiendo pornografía, además de haber dado pasos más allá de esto, en numerosas ocasiones —¿decenas? ¿cientos? —. Y, ¿cómo es posible ese cambio de situación? ¿Cómo he llegado hasta aquí? Ésa es la historia que quiero contar, con mis errores, descalabros, luchas, derrotas y aciertos... aciertos: muchos, sobre todo ahora —gracias A Dios—, y con la inestimable ayuda de mis partners y Truple.

Sin duda, el mejor modo de salir de una enfermedad cuyos síntomas son el vicio, la corrupción, el vacío interior y la tristeza, es contando con quien te quiere y, verdaderamente, busca tu bien. Puedo afirmar con rotunda certeza que Truple no sólo es un servicio, o un software / aplicación , sino que es la mejor herramienta que actualmente existe porque detrás hay un equipo que no busca hacer rentable un producto, exclusivamente, si no que hay un equipo que ha pensado excelentemente bien las cosas para que Truple sea un aliado en la victoria personal, porque realmente es un equipo profesional al que le preocupa la lacra de cieno y corrupción que inunda Internet sin discriminar si es un niño o un adulto quien está delante de la pantalla para arrojarlo a una espiral de drogadicción digital tóxica que, cuando uno se quiere dar cuenta, acaba dominando su vida hasta preguntarse "y yo, ¿cómo he llegado hasta aquí?".

Nunca es poco el daño y la impronta que la sensualidad, aún siendo indirecta y nada explícita, ocasiona en quien la consume. Es un primer paso hacia esa espiral. Y lo más grave es que aparece por todos los rincones de Internet, incluso si uno no quiere ni siquiera buscarla directamente. Desgraciadamente, la Red es un entorno contaminado y es ingenuo pensar que no es necesario adoptar ninguna medida. Por eso, Truple es aún más necesario que la mascarilla, en las primeras semanas de la pandemia del Covid19.
